With interviewing costs rising exponentially, hiring companies have been increasingly employing telephone and video interviews (when available) as a first step to screen candidates. Unfortunately, most candidates do not prepare for telephone and video interviews as rigorously as actual interviews. However, the same rules apply as an actual interview. In this step, we will teach candidates how to leverage the skills they learned in steps # 5 and # 6 to succeed in this increasingly important step in the interview process. We will also cover specific tips geared directly to telephone and video interviews.
Once again, interactive instruction will be employed to both teach and test candidates on these skills.
